Students who join Perth Art Courses will gain valuable skills and confidence in their artistic journey through expertly guided, hands-on workshops.
These courses provide students with the opportunity to create stunning landscapes or portraits while exploring techniques that emphasize form, depth, and perception.
With a rich background as a practicing visual artist and poet, the head teacher, Rebecca has showcased her work in solo and group exhibitions, sharing her vision with diverse audiences.
Rebecca’s teaching journey spans multiple disciplines, including Visual Art, Art History, English Language, and ESL. She has taught art history and drawing at esteemed institutions such as Monash University and Melbourne University and developed engaging art courses for children and adults at community centers across Melbourne. Rebecca’s artwork has appeared in magazines such as Art Edit (pictured below).
By working with acrylic paints, oil colours, or pencils, students learn to manipulate colors effectively, enhancing light, shadow, and dimensionality in their work. The focus on using warm and cool tones to develop form, helps participants master color, building a deeper understanding of the process of creating artworks.
