The Unique Adult Drawing Workshop (UADW) is a 10-week program focused on refining drawing skills and perception. Inspired by masters like Michelangelo and Picasso, the course encourages direct observational drawing, helping students capture their subject’s essence with accuracy and emotional depth.
The Unique Adult Painting Workshop (UAPW) is a 10-week program, combining classic painting techniques with foundational colour theory. Inspired by artists like Lucian Freud and Paul Cézanne, it helps participants understand how colour affects form and emotion.
The Colour Theory 1-Day Workshop offers an in-depth look into colour principles for artists of all levels. Covering essentials like the working with a limited colour palette and warm/cool tones, this workshop includes hands-on exercises with acrylics or oil colours.
Rebecca’s instructional approach to painting is not only about technique; it fosters a deeper understanding of perception, enabling students to approach colour and the painting process as a journey of discovery.
Rebecca introduces the technique and method of collage as a freeing and intuitive process. The medium of collage is forgiving and students can work spontaneously, readily achieving success. Collage also offers a means of exploring colour usage.
At the core of Rebecca’s drawing lessons is the recognition that adults often carry the ingrained ways of seeing they developed in childhood. The workshop encourages students to shift their focus from preconceived notions to direct observation.
